Finishing Strong
I lace up my tennis shoes and head out the door to my first running training course with my good friend Mary. Mary and I had decided that we both wanted to run to help us get more fit, but neither one of us were runners. I had wanted to run a 5k for a while, but lacked the motivation to get off of the couch. I knew that the course would help me to train and keep me accountable toward working to my goal of running a 5k. The training program began pretty simple.
