Evict Anger
What anger do you need to evict from your life? Do you need to forgive yourself? Are you holding onto a grudge from many years ago? It’s time to let those go.
How do you let go of the anger that you hold deep within your heart? You can pray to God asking him to clear your heart of this anger. You can focus on the positive moments. You could spend time in nature. There are so many options.
Holding onto anger is not good for your soul. It takes up room in your heart and brain that could be replaced with so much more than anger. If anger holds a room in your heart can you ask God to remove it? It may take many years for your heart to become clear of the anger you hold deep and that is okay. It may even come back from time to time, but knowing how to redirect your anger is important. Turning it over to God in those moments is key. That is the most important thing you can do.
It’s often hard in the moment to say hey God, can you stop me from erupting? Here’s what I think, as you begin to learn to recognize anger you will learn when it’s time to say hey I think I have gone too far here and then stop. But that doesn’t always happen. Then it’s important to apologize and admit that you have made a mistake. Ask whoever to forgive you. If they don’t, say you understand and pray to God to ask them to soften their heart. Just remember to really make God your focus and not get stuck in anger.

One of my greatest lessons on forgiveness is that it doesn’t mean forgetting or excusing the harm done to you or making up with the person who caused the harm. Forgiveness brings a kind of peace that helps you go on with life….
